After saying to myself I would get to each and every Trunce this year, I finally turned up for the 7th one… Progress isn’t linear, but you actually have to do something to progress and with the 7 Valleys looming I have been trying to hold myself accountable and be a bit more consistent.
This one wasn’t run as a race, but as a social one with Mark. We became ingrained within the evolving pack of runners vying for space from the get-go. We had a good run and even slow the final hill is still a killer. I think Steph got tired of us being slow and shot off after waiting at various points along the course.
It was a good run, one of those reminders that you don’t have to race every time.
